Who’s plowing

I’m Brian Foraker. I grew up in construction and I run Foraker Realty in Kennett Square. I started this to meet people, help out around here, and honestly to solve my own problem: I needed my stuff plowed. It would snow Sunday at 8 pm, melt by Wednesday, and be snowing again three days later. Every storm was a phone call and a new bill.

So I built the program I wanted for myself: one price, no matter how many times it snows. We make money, you get on with your life. And that snow gets heavier every year.

What does the Plow Pass include?

Plowing for a standard residential driveway in Southern Chester County, PA and northern New Castle County, DE, for every storm of 2 inches or more. You get a text the day before, another 20 minutes before arrival, and a photo when it’s finished. Salt is an optional add-on. No shoveling.

What if it hardly snows?

The price stays $135 a month. You’re paying for a reserved place on the route and every storm of 2″ or more—whether it snows once or twenty times.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. Billing runs November through March and stops in April. All five months total $675, or $599 if you pay for the whole winter up front.

Can I book on the day instead?

Day-of plowing for non-subscribers is $200, only if a truck has room. Subscribers are on the route before the storm and get plowed first. If we can’t get to you, you’re not charged.

What’s a standard driveway?

Paved (asphalt, blacktop or concrete), up to two cars wide and up to about three car lengths long. Longer, gravel, stone or dirt driveways get a quick quote instead—nothing is charged until you say yes.

Do you salt or shovel?

Salt, yes: add it for $50 a month (salted after every plow), or reply SALT to a storm text for $45 that storm. Concrete driveways get a concrete-safe salt. We don’t shovel walkways, steps or paths.

Do I need to be home?

No. We’ll text you the day before, 20 minutes out, and a photo when it’s done. Just move cars out of the driveway if you can.
